Short-Term Mission
A week of hard work, worship, learning, and relationships that last for eternity.

Serving with CCCD in Jamaica
Each year, Labor 4 Him brings a team to the Jamaica Deaf Village near Mandeville, a ministry of the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf (CCCD). The village is home to Deaf adults and their families, a church, and small businesses that provide jobs and training.

Our teams work alongside CCCD staff on whatever projects are most needed.

What to Expect

Build. Concrete, block walls, painting, agriculture, finish work, and many other tasks. No experience needed; if you can count and recite the ABCs your skills are needed.

Serve. Every individual is made in God’s image. Your gifts and talents should be used to bless others in the Body of Christ and point people to God. We strive to serve in any way our gifts can be used. This may be listening to someone who needs to be seen and heard or it may be breaking rocks with a pickaxe.

Worship. Devotions each day, Sunday worship, singing praises, and constant prayer are a few examples of lives lived in worship through our service together.

Rest. We take a day to see Jamaica's beauty together before heading home.
